We have today posted the first of a new set of Practical Governance Tips for charity leaders, starting, reasonably enough, with how to deal with the lengthy and confusing rule book which befuddles many new to the sector or their roles.
Know the key parts of your mem and arts is the first of a series which we will publish over several weeks. Our intention, as ever, is to to make a positive difference to society through working with charities, specifically helping charity leaders to take action so that the organisations they are responsible for are run better. We know that charity leaders cannot be perfect, but we also know from experience how tricky it is to spend proportionate and effective time to ensure good governance. We hope that these tips will be of some help.
